Bill Hefner "Mill Point" album was originally recorded in 1975 with 3 of
the founding members of the Black Mountain Bluegrass Boys, Bill Hefner, lead guitar, mandolin, and baritone vocals, Richard Hefner, banjo and tenor vocals, and the late Harley Carpenter, rhythm guitar and lead vocals. Guest artists are Pat Kerns on bass and the late Ralph "Joe" Meadows on fiddle. The album features 6 vocals and 6 instrumentals.

The Hefner Family "Peace Be Still" album was recorded in 1995 at WVMR Studios, Frost, West Virginia. Band members are Elma Hefner, alto vocals, Julia Williams, tenor vocals, Melissa Totten, lead vocals and piano on "Feelin' Fine", Bill Hefner, lead acoustic guitar, Jeff Hefner, mandolin, and Michael Totten, fingerstyle acoustic guitar. There are twelve songs on this album.
